About this build

You can tell what this little stand sells from across the room. It sits on a 16 x 8 stud strip of lawn with a gray sidewalk along the front, and the striped awning and blue sign give it real height.

There are 106 parts and 13 steps. Expect around 30–45 minutes.

The counter shows how far basic stacking can go. In steps 2 and 3, reddish-brown log bricks form the front face with plain 1 x 6 bricks behind them, and the rounded log faces give the counter a plank texture. A white 2 x 8 plate caps it as the countertop.

Next come the posts. Yellow and white 1 x 1 round bricks stack in turn, so each post gets candy stripes without any special parts. Step 5 lays the white awning frame across them.

The awning is where you meet slopes. Steps 6 to 8 each add one course of eight small 2 x 1 slopes, alternating yellow and white. Every course sits one stud further back than the one below it, so the awning tilts down toward the customer. The front course overhangs the frame by one stud, held because the back half of each slope still grips the plate.

From step 9 on, it is all props. Two trans-yellow 2 x 2 round bricks under a white dish become the pitcher, trans-yellow 1 x 1 round bricks stand in for glasses, and grille bricks form a crate filled with yellow round-plate lemons. A stool, a potted plant and flowers finish the scene.

For a different flavour, swap the yellow slopes and posts for red ones and the stand sells strawberry lemonade instead.
