About

Brick Recipe is a free collection of original brick models, each turned into easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions.

What Brick Recipe is

Think of each model as a recipe: a short list of ingredients and a clear set of steps that end in something you can put on a shelf. The collection covers buildings, landmarks, nature scenes and street props, at levels from beginner to expert. Every model is an original design. None of them are copies of commercial sets.

Models are designed and modeled digitally, then checked step by step so every part rests on something before they are published.

How the instructions work

Each build opens in an interactive 3D viewer. Rotate and zoom the model from any angle, then move through the steps one at a time. Each step adds a small group of pieces, highlighted so you can see exactly where they go. A step card lists the pieces for the current step with their colors and counts, and some steps include a short tip for the tricky parts.

Parts lists

Every build has the full parts list with each part's name, color and quantity, so you can check your collection or order what is missing before you start.

Part shapes come from the LDraw Parts Library, © LDraw.org contributors, licensed under CC BY 4.0 and CC BY 2.0. Brick Recipe packs and subsets the parts each model uses and removes library comments. LDraw™ is a trademark owned and licensed by the Estate of James Jessiman.
