Operator and privacy contact
This site is run by Brick Recipe, an independent project, which is responsible for the personal information described here. For any privacy question or request, email contact@brick-recipe.com.
What we collect
We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the site. Instructions, parts lists and the 3D viewer all run in your browser from static files, and the site keeps nothing in your browser's storage. Personal information is processed only in these cases:
- Emails you send us: your email address, your name if you include it, and your message.
- Server and security logs: Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes technical data for each request, such as your IP address, browser user agent, the requested page and the time.
- Advertising identifiers: when ads are enabled, Google uses cookies and similar identifiers as described under Advertising below.
Purpose and legal basis
- Replying to your inquiries: we use your email only to read and answer it. The legal basis is your consent, given by writing to us, and our legitimate interest in responding.
- Delivering and securing the site: server logs are used to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, based on legitimate interests.
- Advertising: ads help keep the site free. Personalized ads are shown only with your consent where the law requires it.
Retention
Emails are kept for up to one year after our last reply and then deleted. Cloudflare keeps server and security logs according to its own retention periods. Advertising cookies are managed by Google and stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, suspend its processing or object to it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us from the address you used before and say what you would like us to do. We will reply without undue delay.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Some of the services we rely on process personal information outside your country:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): server and security logs, transferred over the network each time you visit, to deliver and protect the site.
- Google LLC (USA): advertising cookies and identifiers, when ads are enabled and you visit a page, to serve and measure ads.
- Our email provider: messages sent to our contact address are forwarded to an email inbox, so your email address and message are transferred when you email us, to let us read and reply.
You can avoid these transfers by not emailing us and by declining or blocking advertising cookies. Server logs are needed to deliver the site.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, such as
__cf_bm or cf_clearance, to tell people from bots. When ads are enabled, Google sets
advertising cookies as described below. Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent
through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data for each request, such as your IP address, browser user agent, the requested page and the time, to deliver the site, keep it secure and protect it against abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense, which keeps the site free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google's consent management platform (certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework) asks for your choice before personalized ads are shown. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized or limited ads. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy and cookie settings link that the message provides.
Children
The site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes and effective date
This policy is effective as of October 3, 2026. If it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
